Yesterday, I found a very interesting list of the most popular given names.

The funny thing is I know many people with those names. In fact, I could find at least one friend for each name on the list (the list from my country).

Those are very popular names. Mine isn't on there, but it was the most popular name the year I was born and through my whole childhood.

My name's not there (Theresa) but there were 3 of us in my high school class and a handful of Michelle's. Lately I see a lot of babies being named those names you listed ;)

Interesting! I had no idea my name was so darn popular in the US and other countries (Emily). It was fairly unique when I was little.
