Tips For Damaged Hair

The weather, the beach, the stress, the wrong products... many are the factors that can damage our hair and make it look dull and dry. Here are a few tips that I have gathered and that I hope you find them useful.

1- Before you select a product for your hair make sure that it is designed to treat the type of damage that your hair has, and make sure that it is a quality product.
2-Even if you are trying to grow your hair out it is important to trim the ends of your hair about every two weeks. You don’t have to trim very much, just about a centimeter if your hair is relatively healthy.
3-
Limit the use of chemical treatments like perms, dyes, and relaxers to once every 8 to 10 weeks at the most.
4-
You can perform deep conditioning with heat using a moisturizing conditioner especially manufactured for dry or damaged hair on weekly basis.
5-
Try if possible not blow-dry. Wait until they dry naturally. If you can not do without a hair dryer you must set very gentle regimen.

6-Shampoos, which contain essential oils, various plant extracts such as hops, chamomile, nettle, sage and lecithin are ideal for dry and damaged hair. Well suited shampoos containing lanolin, panthenol, jojoba and avocado, they are perfectly reconstructing the hair after using these shampoos hair becomes shiny and silky.
7-
There are several items in your kitchen that you can use to improve the health and appearance of your hair. For split ends, dry hair, and frizzy hair you can use olive oil and a beaten egg.
8-
Trade in your hairbrush for a wide-toothed comb to limit hair breakage.
9-
Treatment of damaged hair is largely dependent on proper nutrition. The diet of health food should be present a large amount of mineral salts and vitamins.
10-
Before you can begin the process of damaged hair care, you must first know the source. Is it chemical damage? Are you using heated instruments that are damaging your hair?

I hope you found these useful. Have a great weekend!
